No doubt the best time to visit Korea is during Spring and Autumn, while winter also have a lot of beautiful things and snow to offer, i find spring and autumn is the most convenient time to travel.

Spring is start from March to May and Autumn is start from September to November, this time is the best time to visit South korea. Make sure you check out their own seasonal festival before you come to travel so you won’t miss it.

The most beautiful things on spring is that many flowers begin to bloom, in which apricot plum and cherry blossoms are the beautiful flowers all koreans waiting to see. It’s spread across the country, the mood can’t be expressed by words, you need to really walk on the path of cherry blossoms then you will understand why Korea is a country of Love.

Spring in Korea is almost defined by the cherry blossom, and this festival is undoubtedly one of Korea’s most popular festivals. Jinhae is the most photogenic cherry blossoms area all over south korea. It usually blossom on first until second week of April.

However, the beautiful blooms on Cherry Blossom trees only lasts in each location for a very short period of time. But don’t worry, it takes around a month or more to spread all over from the north to the south korea, so you will have lots of opportunities to enjoy the festival. Just make sure that you’ll be in Korea in April.

2. Mungyeong Traditional Chasabal Festival

Mungyeong is famous for it’s traditional ceramic works, it first launched in 1999 and has becoming a signature festival in Mungyeong areas. Mungyeong Traditional Chasabal Festival is usually held in the month of May at Mungyeongsaejae Open Set Studio in Mungyeong city, North Gyeongsang Province.

In this Korean festival, you can purchase various ceramic products, join various activities such as traditional tea ceremony and making pottery, that is operated by local artisans.

This is the best place where you can see rows upon rows of green tea bushes covering steep Korean hillsides. Seoul Lotus Lantern Festival takes place in spring on Buddha’s birthday. In the evening, thousands of people will walk along Jong-ro, areas, major street in central Seoul, holding a lantern and creating a magnificent sight.

The parade starts at Dongguk University, and ends at Jogyesa temple. You can also make your own lanterns, and be entertained by all the cultural performances on offer. The Lotus Lantern Festival is a 3 day festival so you can find your perfect day to see this festival.

This festivals sets the city ablaze to pray for a good upcomig harvest and health in the upcoming new year. The festival is organized in the beautiful natural surroundings of the village of Bongseong-ri, Ayeol-eup, on Jeju Island.

This festival is an ancient tradition, It symbolizes the ritual of burning old grass to get rid of vermin before resuming the next farming season. This is a unique celebration and the sight of the hilly city on fire looks dazzling and stunning.
