Space Walk In Pohang, New Travel Hotspot in Korea!
In this article we will share to you the information about new hotspot in Pohang in late 2021, The Space Walk, New Roller Coaster Walkable Sculpture.
The Space Walk is the largest walkable sculpture in Hwanho Park, that allows up to 250 people to feel the ‘walking in the air’ and ‘roller coaster’ walk experience. This attraction is a new hotspot for all locals and foreigner who live in south korea.

This great sculpture resembling a rollercoaster shape with a 25-meter height above the land, 717 steps, 333-meters longwide loop and designed to withstand earthquakes of up to magnitude 6.5, with capacity limited to 250.
Other than that, Space walk offers great views of the city, including Youngil Bay and Youngildae Beach.

If you felt familiar with this sculpture, it because this sculpture was the second to the real one in Germany. This giant sculpture designed by German artists Heiki Mutter and Ulrich Genth.
The Space Walk was made of 317 tons of steel made by POSCO, and this sculpture just became a permanent attraction and new hotspot for the city along with Park1538, the steel company’s museum.

The attraction is open weekdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends.
