Nijimori Studio, Japanese style theme park in Korea!

Nijimori Studio in Dongducheon is located about 60 kilometers north of Seoul, this studio allows you to feel japanese vibes in South Korea.
As there are a lot of travel restriction during this pandemic, the studio is definitely a refreshing spot for those who miss travel abroad and wants to feel japanese vibes.

The locations is not far from the border with the North, features a set of buildings that will bring all of us back to Japan History, during Japan’s Edo Era (1600s-1860s). It has been a new local hotspot since September 2021.

This japanese style theme park actually served as a filming set for several dramas that includes Japan scenery before transformed into a theme park in order to make a better use of this space.

Other than japan historical style building, there are also beautiful lake, various attraction, japanese style bakery, cafe as well as sushi, ramen restaurant, tatami rooms and a high quality ryokan style inn where you can stay for only $500~$700 per night.

You can also easily rent kimono here to wear as you stroll around taking a good picture here feeling as if you’re a japanese living in japan’s edo era. Most of the stuff you will find here such as furniture and dishware was shipped directly from Japan.

This place has been featured in ‘You Are the Criminal’ Season 3 and ‘The Tale of a Gumiho’ korean dramas.
