Hello Kitty (ハローキティ, Harō Kiti) is the best known of Sanrio’s fictional characters, born in the United Kingdom, and lives in London. However, we can see now that Hello Kitty made her second house in Jeju Island.

While we might expect a real island as we hear Hello Kitty Island, truth of the matter is that it isn’t an actual island, it’s much more like an exhibition hall comprises of museum and cafe.
The museum divided over some different themed rooms such as exhibits of kitties, a gift shop, Kitty History Hall, Art Education Hall, Music Education Hall, Art Gallery World Gallery Hall, Trip Around the World Gallery Hall, Hello Kitty Cafe, and more exciting places to enjoy.

First Floor (Ground Floor)
You will find the gift shop, Kitty History Hall, Kitty House, Art education Hall, Music Education Hall, and the Art Gallery on this floor.
Second Floor
On this floor, you will enjoy the World Gallery Hall, Around the World gallery Hall, Constellation Education Hall, Art Gallery 2 (for special exhibits only), Art Gallery 3 (Fixed exhibition), Kitty Room, Hello Kitty Cafe, and Playtime area.
Third Floor
On this floor, you can enjoy the 3D Theater and the Outdoor Exhibition area. You will also see the views of Jeju Island from this vantage point.

You will find this huge Hello Kitty ‘chrismast’ tree in the middle of the ground floor at the lobby areas rise up to the 2nd floor of this museum. Many people who come take a picture here and we can understand why.

This Hello kitty house is really a dream come true for those who love hello kitty and wish to have their own hello kitty house. You can see all of the attributes here, from the carpet, living room area, dining area, all decorated with Hello Kitty theme and motifs.

Even you can find the Hello Kitty’s dressing room beautifully furnished with a shocking pink and gradations of pink exactly inspired from Hello Kitty.

What is more special about this hello kitty house is that during some special events, Hello kitty’s room will be designed and decorated according to the occasions, for example during limited time in october, this bedroom is decorated in Halloween themed with purple and orange colour, which match the autumn seasons as well.

If you already take a picture of the hello kitty houses with pink themed, do consider visiting this island again during special holidays, either halloween or christmas season, for the whole room will be decorated differently, according to each events.

There is a special Hello Kitty library with open book as the canopy, this is a really instagrammable spot for taking a picture for many visitors.

The admission ticket costs KRW14,000 for each person, however, if you are coming with a kids below 11 years old, they only costs KRW11,000 each.
