Igidae Coastal walk

Igidae Coastal trail is located few miles South of Gwangalli beach. The Igidae Coastal trail is a path following the coast for 4.7 km from Igidae Dongsaengmal to Oryukdo Sunrise Park. Igidae Coastal walk is one of must-do in Busan areas as it has a really beautiful scenery and also leads to really beautiful Oryukdo sunrise park and also our next Coastal walkways in busan, Oryukdo Skywalk.

Igidae Coastal trail is a combination of gentler pavement and dirt path, with some steeper sections in some areas. Walking along this coastline walkways, you can witness the exotic scenery made by coastal cliffs and the wave-built terrace.

Oryukdo Skywalk

Oryukdo is one of the must visit and famous attractions among many foreigners for many years for it’s beautiful scenery and glass skywalk over the sea. The U shaped skywalk sits atop a 35-meter cliffs and offers views of Oryukdo Island that consists of five small islands.

While the view is really beautiful, the skywalk here is actually really small compare to the many visitors that came here. However, it still worth to try and take some good pictures up here.

How to get here:
Take a bus 27 from Busan Station (30-40 minutes).
or take a ferry to Oryukdo Islands from Mipo ferry terminal at Haeundae Beach.

Taejongdae Resort Park

Just like oryukdo skywalk, Taejongdae is one of the most famous coastal walkways in Busan areas.  You can enjoy the walkways or just get into “Danubi Train” that feature 2 coastal views and a quiet forest temple.

How to get here:
Take bus 8, 30, or 114 from Nampo subway exit 6, across from Lotte Mall Gwangbokdong. The bus takes 40 minutes.

Cheongsapo Daritdol Observatory

This walkways is actually built in 2017, considered as the newest walkways in Busan areas. this 72.5-meter long, 20-meter high walkway was created as an alternative as Oryukdo is usually packed by people.

You can find Cheongsapo Seafood town near by the harbor village of Cheongsapo. It’s famous for its clam and seafood BBQ, in case you love seafood, you can just go there and also take a picture of in front of the lighthouse.

Haeundae Dongbaeksom Island

Dongbaekseom Island (Island of Camellias) is an island located off one end of Busan’s famous Haeundae Beach. Dongbaekseom is now connected to the mainland island due to many years of sedimentation, so you might not find it on the map.

Dongbaekseom Island is easy to navigate by the walking path that is built around it. You can also enjoy some other attractions and photo shoot areas, including the monument inscribed with a poem of scholar Choi Chi-won, the mermaid statue based on the legend of Princess Hwagok, and the Nurimaru APEC House.

It also offers fantastic views of the Busan shoreline towards Mipo, Dalmaji Hill, Gwangangdaegyo Bridge, and Oryukdo Island. As the name suggests, camellias burst into bloom everywhere on the island from winter to spring.

Dadaepo Beach Park

Dadaepo beach park is located right next to the pathway pas the Sunset fountain of dreams to the directions to Dadaepo Beach. This park meets the beach on a romantic wooden walkway to see the most beautiful sunset with your loved ones.

Songdo Cloud Trails

Songdo Cloud Trails is located on the side of the beach near the Songdo Cable Car station. 104-meter-long Songdo Cloud Trails features spiraling walkways over the sea and connects the mainland to a small island, beyond which it terminates at a platform with fantastic views of Yeongdo Island.

Songdo Coast Bollegil Trail

Songdo Coast Bollegil Trail is actually consist of two words “boda (to see)” and “dulle-gil (walking path).” The walking course starts from the Hyunin Square, passes through the Amnam Park walking path, and returns. In total, it takes about 30 minutes to reach Amnam Park on the walkway and the other 30 minutes to get back here.

There are four sections, the southern sea path, ancient forest path, Ahopgubi Trail, and path of memories. Walking on the trail, you will see the beautiful coastal scenery, biennale sculptures, dense pine forests, and the uninhabited Dudo Island. 

How to get there:
Nampo Station (Metro line 1), exit 8. Take bus 71 and get off at Amnam Park stop. Walk along the beach until reaching the park entrance. The coastal trail begins at the tip of the western part of Songdo Beach. Walk along the trail to reach Amnam Park.
