Sand Museum Cafe
Cafe 8794 Yongin Branch is super huge cafe, most famous for it’s unique sand sculpture installed inside this cafe. This cafe is good for both couple and family with kids.
This cafe is really huge and divided into three separate buildings with three different vibes. The first main building is a cafe space, the space for you to order the menu.
Here’s the menu that you can find here. You can order various type of beverages, from coffee, non coffee, smoothies, tea, ade and some western food. This cafe is a good choice for brunch.
This cafe also offers special drinks for children with a quiet decent price. They can play and enjoy their time here as the parents have their coffee time.
Other than that, you can find various type of bakery too. Just make sure you came early, because it usually runs out fast.
There’s a small quiet pond connecting the first main building for order the food with the second building for seating areas.
The second building consist of seating areas only, where you can enjoy your time with a huge distance (which is good for those introvert who love private talk) and also good during this pandemic times. You can choose to sit on the sofa, chairs or the stairs.
This is the view you will get as you sit in the stairs overlooking the sofa and chair seating areas.
This cafe has a european classic style with firewood and brick all around the wall to makes it feel warm, homie and comfortable.
Now we go upstairs in order to go to the last building, the third sand sculpture museum building.
This is the very first view you will get as you go from the upstairs of the second building to the second floor of the third building. The bird views of the sand sculpture in the third building.

The third building is more into a sandy beach vibes, you can see the seating areas was filled with stones, wood, and parasols. You will get a huge sand sculpture as the front view and cities at the background (outside window view).
The third building is filled with families and kids. You can see many kids playing in the sands with their parents and friends.
You wouldn’t believe that the third building is a cafe, it feels more like going into a museum. This is a great innovation of Korea Cafe Culture.
