Doberman were originally born to be a guardian dogs and we know Jungkook knew this as well when he told Bahmie, “Don’t be on guard, I can protect myself”, while they walking together.
While Dobermans were known for it’s high energy with fierce and elegant appearance, Dobermans are actually having another side that are really affectionate towards it’s owner.
Back to the topic, BTS Jungkook earn praise from ARMY all over the world is because BTS Jungkook didn’t crop his doberman’s ear or tail as many of Doberman’s owner did to their dogs.
Ear Cropping refers to the process of surgically altering or removing a dog’s ear and make them stand upright to give them much more fierce and aesthetic appearance.
This ear cropping is totally based on each owner preference, yet it is a really tough and painful process for the doberman as large sections of their outer ears are cut off. Some countries even make it illegal for those who did this ear cropping to doberman.
Other than ear cropping, what is common among Doberman is docking tails. Same like ear cropping, it is also done based on each owner preference, and only for aesthetic purpose. Other than it is so painful for the doberman, some of them actually have a problem with their poop process after this surgery.
No doubt that many ARMY praise and respect BTS Jungkook for his right choice it treating his doberman as it is, not sacrifice him by ear cropping or docking tail for aesthetic purpose.
Other than Jungkook, BLACKPINK‘s Lisa also have introduced her doberman named Love, and also don’t do any surgery to her doberman. They deserve praise and respect for their choice.
